HELPING REALTORS UNDERSTAND THE REAL ESTATE NEEDS OF NONPROFITS IN DELAWARE

Did you know that there are more than 1,000 nonprofits in Delaware? These groups often look for real estate — to rent or to own — and can accommodate special uses.

Members of the commercial real estate community are invited to come and learn about the real estate needs of nonprofits like charter schools, early care centers, nonprofit office facilities, social service providers, etc. We will discuss the tools needed to quickly assess nonprofit demand in a market and how to assess the financial viability of a property for prospective nonprofit tenants.

There is no cost to attend the workshop. Lunch will be provided.

SELLING YOUR MANUFACTURED HOME COMMUNITY IN DELAWARE

We invite owners of manufactured home communities to come and learn about opportunities for you to sell to the residents of your community.

READS—a nonprofit real estate developer—will discuss trends in the marketplace, Delaware’s new law for selling a manufactured home community and the opportunities that exist for owners to sell to residents of the community and explain how residents across the county are accessing capital and purchasing their communities for a fair market price.  We will also answer attendee’s questions about the new process for selling a community and the requirements for owners to comply with the new law.

There is no cost to attend the workshop. Dinner will be provided.
